Have you seen the employment figures for people with autism? Or discrimination by the police? Or the fact that there is less support for them that actually helps them, even in the education sector? There is a lot that still needs to be done to support people with autism in society.

It's interesting listening to probably high-functioning autistic people talking about autism while completely neglecting that there are low-functioning autistic people that would and do struggle much more with social expectations. Them struggling wouldn't make you look bad if you are autistic. It looks like autism.

But then, how do we go from being in this having state so that we can enter the being state? Find the middle path? To transcend?
