As problematic as it can be, I like it when a sci-fi/fantasy world has races with characteristics that are more feckless and derpy than others. The universe shouldn't be composed only of warrior classes; it needs it's Hobbits, Podlings, or Ewoks.

I also like it when individuals in those stories defy the characteristics of their race and become warriors or adventurers. They make great underdogs, and their radicalization punctuates the need to defy the evil characters.

@BeAware I'd also note that though engagement seems down here on Fedi too, it's still better than Twitter or Bluesky for me. I do post differently on each though, so that might just be the fact that I'm a WAY bigger shithead on Twitter/Bsky

@BeAware it's just a feeling; the Twitter algorithm is showing lots of repeats. Usually there's a lot of unique spammy engagement posts. And Bluesky's algo feeds just don't get updated very often. Mostly it's engagement that's down. I never get much, but it's basically nothing lately.

@BeAware I'm on Twitter and Bluesky, and I've noticed a downturn in content and engagement on those as well. I think it's seasonal.

It still blows me away that I can download an entire television season in 1080p resolution in under ten minutes.

If so, how might I conceal what I was doing? What if I used separate accounts, following different sets of users, and built them up over time, and with a little overlap to make them seem reallstic, maybe even multiple domains, and then merged all the posts together to create a single firehose? Is that abuse too?
