@BeAware I think hashtags are the fediverse equivalent of an algorithm, and still woefully underdeveloped; you can't export/import them, there's no indication whether a post in your feed is from someone you follow, or a followed hashtag, or which of the tags in a post is the one you're following. I have a lot of opinions about them.

@BeAware that sounds like a chore more Sisyphean than my attempts to add everyone who hates crypto to a BlueSky moderation list! It fills me with sonder.

TIL that Mastodon has a setting for lists that hides that list's posts from your Home feed.

If you're following some particularly noisy users you can add them to a list and then hide them from your Home feed and just check the list when you run out of other stuff to read!
