   Is it just me, or are there more users that aren't logging in regularly than there are registering?

   Like we have an abandonment issue or a absolutely MASSIVE false activity reporting issue....😬

   Doesn't feel so "alive" here these days.

     @BeAware The surge from twitter was an anomaly. I think most of the people looking for the "next twitter" moved on to threads or bluesky.

     My federated tab certainly was a bit busier a few months ago.

     @BeAware I'm on Twitter and Bluesky, and I've noticed a downturn in content and engagement on those as well. I think it's seasonal.

     @BeAware it's just a feeling; the Twitter algorithm is showing lots of repeats. Usually there's a lot of unique spammy engagement posts. And Bluesky's algo feeds just don't get updated very often. Mostly it's engagement that's down. I never get much, but it's basically nothing lately.

     @BeAware I'd also note that though engagement seems down here on Fedi too, it's still better than Twitter or Bluesky for me. I do post differently on each though, so that might just be the fact that I'm a WAY bigger shithead on Twitter/Bsky
