Back when Heinz was still something I would buy. For 100 years they partnered with Leamington to make Ketchup. Then one day, they abruptly left. The entire economy had supported them, from growing the tomatoes to processing and bottling. Now French's makes ketchup there and they are as good, so French's it is.

A friend's property in California used to have a little flock of guinea fowls. They are really good to control ticks. Every time I visited there were fewer and fewer until there were none. No one really knew what happened to them. Maybe they found a new home, maybe that cougar I once encountered had a hand in their disappearance.

I am not a US taxpayer but still am ticked off about being denied the satisfaction of seeing that building without the taint. This was supposed to have been done last night, then by noon. If a regular person had defied a judge's order so many times, there would be consequences. Here, a curtain stands to hide whether the job has been completed or not, hours past the last deadline. Apparently court documents state this has been completed, but who trusts those corrupted people?
