@pluralistic Loved this when I read it on your site. You didn't mention on-line therapy companies like betterhelp and teladoc, which have their own set of risks. Search for "teladoc privacy scandals" for an eyeful.

The only safe therapy option is in-person visits with an actual therapist who will respect your privacy. Anything else is fraught with truly ugly risks.

@georgetakei So you get on a plane, and you observe that the pilot is a white guy. Now you worry if he got into college just 'cause his dad went to the same place, and got his job just 'cause his uncle already was a pilot .

Other really fun books include _Little Brother_, _Walkaway_, and his early work ( _Someone comes to town, someone leaves town_, _Down and out in the magic kingdom_).
