Now I have seen everything! I cannot believe Marjorie Taylor Green resigned from congress. She is power drunk so I am utterly puzzled as to why she’d shoot herself in the foot. But I am laughing 🤣

@FlashMobOfOne I hear you. I bought into that hope and change schtick too. Much as I want to be angry at Obama, I cannot because I feel like the product of my own mistakes. I had plenty of chances and opportunities but squandered them. Mostly I just feel a deep and abiding sadness that the only escape from is #sleep.

@FlashMobOfOne It’s really a sad state. I cannot even derive any comfort in knowing I am not the only one in this predicament. I used to feel some relief in knowing I’m not alone. Now it just feels like the weight is only heavier.

I’m the kind of #weary that defies definition. Why do the psychiatrists and therapists tell us to have #hope? I mean what the actual fuck is hope?Whoever called it #hopium is right. At least actual opiates give you some relief I reckon. Hopium sounds like something the wealthy wants us to have so we lead a life in illusion and ignorant to what is actually happening. I don’t know anymore.

I don’t feel free. I feel like I am an inmate in a cruel prison without walls. I can imagine this might be how a dog fenced in by an invisible fence might feel?

I know I am old because I still prefer my textbooks and regular books in print. I hate the digital versions. Maybe it is because I am a tactile person? 😹

The US is incredibly #ableist. I’m walking with a cane. I’ve had hospital constables harass me. I’ve had the door slammed in my face today. I’ve dealt with bus drivers refusing to lower the bus so I can easily get on and off. What the hell!?

@FlashMobOfOne Well, Taylor Swift may be _less_ egregious than the others. It's pretty well known that she pays her employees well above average and treats them with decency. I might make a possible exception for her. But still, billionaires should not exist.

I happen to agree with this 100%. Corporate #wagetheft is a real thing. Furthermore, inadequate compensation for work performed is also a real thing. We have #wageslavery in the US.

This is so true. Hate may have different shapes, sizes, and colors but hate is still hate. You can’t dress it up any differently.
