Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook by scrapping photos of female schoolmates in Havard (without consent), and building a website for the guys to rate these schoolmates. Neither Facebook nor Zuckerberg "changed for the worse", they always have been like this. The warning sign have been there, for some 20 years already. 🙃
@cwebber@social.coop We're breached by China because we added backdoor to our infrastructure, and we're going to solve this by adding more backdoors! Yay!! 🤡
@mekkaokereke@hachyderm.io It's almost like:Keep hateful people around. Good people that doesn't tolerate assholes left, or refuse to join. "Why did they go?! Must be woke!"🤡
@jeffowski@mastodon.world Recently there was a deepfake porn crisis which involves men sending photos of women they took to deepfake bots on Telegram, to modify them to nudes, in Korea.
Many of them shared and "used" the modified photos of their mothers, sisters, daughters.
So the truth is, many men, when questioned with "what if it's your mother, sister or daughter?", their answers won't be... nice, to say the least.
@jeffowski@mastodon.world#Alt4You A comic piece depicting a person lying face-down on a table. On the right are many bottles of yellow liquid (lemon juice judging by the context later), on the left is a machine keeps popping lemons on this person, there are so many lemons that it started stacking up on the floor. This person has a hand-operated juicer in front of them.
@aral@mastodon.ar.al Performing a legacy install on UEFI platforms or performing a UEFI install on BIOS platforms sounds moot. You can't boot it after installation (Unless you enabled CSM for BIOS install which, unfortunatelly made it much more complex to boot a hybrid medium). 🤔 It should be made clear on the interface, though. Yes.
@aral@mastodon.ar.al First it's overtly Japanese, then the spammer switched to Korean to avoid word filters. After I added the Korean keywords to the word filter, they switched again, now to only mentioning accounts and a picture of "can of spam with discord link attached to it".
Also, was the language property attached to a post automatically detected? Or is it user-defined before posting? iirc I saw an option on Tusky to choose the language of the post. 🧐
