@mcc @anildash i think its very easy to argue that people who licensed their work under CC0 (or any CC for that matter) did not actively consent to having their work used to train LLMs, a technology that didn't exist (at least in the mainstream) at the time of licensing.

if people want to do something really tangible to help #transgender people at the moment... honestly the best thing you can do is just reach out to your trans friends. invite us to the pub or for dinner, or anything that lets us forget about the state of things for a bit.

i've been on HRT for a year this week, it's been one of the most socially isolating years of my life. basically every trans person i know is really not ok on multiple fronts. relationship breakdowns are everwhere.
