One thing i really adore and the #fediverse is the amount of control you have about what you see. Instance is flooded with racists, bigots and other trash that is being put in your timeline? Go to one of the profiles -> mute entire domain and it's gone from your feed, searches, replies, retoots etc.

The ease of curating the people i want to talk to is pretty great

Hello, I'm Chase. 28, Developer from Germany. @KevinMarks @zombierustpunk it's so important. And if you can't do that make sure you look at people that do.

In my last team we'd regularly travel through Germany with the entire dev team to visit the warehouses our app was used in so er could watch how people used it and directly talk to the people working with it
