so, i have the entire n-gate website as json now. decided to see if the tone would shine through a markov chain. the first. f'in run > "contextualize for a good old-fashioned shitfight about the internet. Hackernews does software they vote on their eggs in Google's ultimate"
@icedquinn how big? i got a wireless "keyboard" that's like tiny chiclet keys and it has a trackpad built in. It came with this android TV thing i wanted to test out. ebay/amazon showed this sort of thing as fairly inexpensive.
but if you mean like a laptop (or macbook) trackpad, this isn't that :-D
@Forestofenchantment@BasedLunatic i am not sure how i feel about that. I don't watch a *ton* of UK content, but i do watch QI and the end of year panel show that Jimmy Carr hosts, sometimes 8 out of 10 cats...
a pattern.
but as an american it's already a giant PITA for me to watch old content, maybe if it was ad supported i could watch it easier idk.
probably would lose its charm if i were ad supported.
@icedquinn one of the few issues i am extremely passionate about is isolationism for the US as a foreign policy. I live where i see troop movement as they deploy/return from overseas. 2017-2021 all stuff was coming from airport to mil base.
2022-2025 mostly going mil base to airport.
Trump drew down troops, which is something that i want any president to do.
anyhow, words are words. time will tell if there's a hand up his sock
"They found 37% of voters strongly oppose Trump compared to only 27% who strongly approve. That is a ten-point enthusiasm gap of people strongly opposing Trump just one month into his second term."
Oh? i read that as Trump voters aren't as stupid as TDS OMB people. If you asked me if i approve of trump in a poll it wouldn't be "strong" - trump was fine before and then he dropped the covid ball.
@p which part is unclear? I have transcriptions for lots of things so if i remember something is from a show i can regex for whatever i remember and there's the link. I searched "yep" because the file with the most "yeps" was probably the one.
The subject matter is directly related to your four images - the inanity of streaming service names specifically.
A youtube link of the video queued to the exact spot where the relevant bit starts, and a screenshot of the rg output.
@icedquinn the number of times i've needed to buy a ham or other esoteric electronic part via the 2020 equivalent of sending a SASE to them with money inside. Paypal, on-demand ebay listing (so still paypal), literal sending money orders. There's some electronic supplier out here that has "a web site" iykwim. it's barely cleaned up OCR of a print catalog which reads like an engineer's reference handbook.
name anything and my "that's not difficult" is universally met: "at scaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale?"
@icedquinn sorry. explain it to him as if he were a child:
is it possible to do something like explorer.exe* or midnight commander or finder as wasm?
I ask because if it's possible then i shall look at how to make llvm target it (or whatever). If it's impossible then i'm starting to wonder about some other claims i've heard.
* i think tecnically explorer.exe is the DE | WM. I used to care but windows no longer crashes the way that requires you to care to not lose work.
