@sickburnbro It'll visibly crash just in time for Trump to take over and catch the blame.

@WashedOutGundamPilot I've been saying "leave the cities" for years, but the damn cities keep sprawling out into safe countryside. Local government sometimes resists development, but they can be complicit sometimes, or sued into opening the area up.

@sun As long as that doesn't include Bill Burr, I will agree.

@sickburnbro The one moment of journalism I can respect, and they lost because they were 100% full of shit, lol.

@sickburnbro Maybe I just went to a super awesome school, but I remember them talking about the Founders being wealthy as part of that mythology. They also talked about how their wealth was destroyed by the Revolution, and many died in debt.
You're supposed to respect the Founders for what they said and did, not for matching up exactly with your current demographic profile.

@sickburnbro I'm suggesting something bigger. I think they're going to invoke the 25th on him, and they can't afford to do both that and a candidate switch at the same time. So they're doing one now, before the convention, letting them hide Joe for longer.

@sickburnbro His health must have fallen off a cliff over the last 3 days. They needed to bail as early before the convention as possible.

@sickburnbro I guess. I've been in that situation before, and my instinct was to get very angry and sarcastic, not tear up. I guess I assumed every tech in that spot does the same.
The first lesson people in understaffed organizations should learn is how much power you have by being necessary, and how to chill while exercising it.

@sickburnbro What's the problem? You just fix it at a reasonable pace, for 8 hours a day, until it's done. If the boss complains you inform him that if he wants more speed, he'll need to hire more people.

@sickburnbro inb4 TEH JEWS, because that's not what people are intuiting
If you think things are "out of control", that implies you think there is such a thing as controlled, orderly society. Who do normies think enforces the control? Institutions, which have all lost credibility? Police and courts, which they all hate? Sovereign voters, who feel universally disenfranchised? 2020 happened, where was civilizational control then?
Trump got shot. Whose control did that violate? And if you don't know... then why would you think such violence is out of their control, instead of directly under it?

@sickburnbro The good men ARE the ones arguing with her. They're giving her too much benefit of the doubt, bless their hearts.

@sickburnbro His showman instincts were always his strength.

@sickburnbro This, I can absolutely believe.
Anyone know the last time a SS detail fired a shot to protect a target? I don't remember if they did for Regan, or if they've done more than tackle someone since.

@sickburnbro Real estate is localized real politik. You can do incredibly well on instincts and understanding alone. Trump pulled it off with marketing, deal making, a lot of capital, and being personable in a very face-to-face business.
His instincts are good, like focusing on manufacturing and bad trade deals, but he rarely has a complex theory behind it. I don't buy the "playing a part" theory, the guy legitimately thinks stock market and GDP are good indicators, great indicators, the best indicators ever (because they went up while he was in office).
I'll bet 500 Internet Points that the only thing he says about Bitcoin is that it's the best coin, really the best ever. We need it because it gives us freedom, and freedom is good, and I like freedom so vote for me. Even odds side bet on him promising a random EO about crypto, that he won't be able to answer questions about.

@sickburnbro The Orange Man's sole understanding of macroeconomics and monetary policy is "stock market go up = healthy country". What could he possibly have to say about Bitcoin?

@doonxib I didn't realize it was that skewed. The US catches crap for the Electoral College every now and then, but it's never been that badly out of alignment.
Are the Brits being bad at math, or democracy?

@sickburnbro The last time Trump talked to Zelensky he got impeached for it. I wouldn't take the bait.

@graf @sickburnbro It's every damn agency in the US. Bureaucrats have been making shit up without restraint for decades, this opens up a ton of challenges to their interpretations and rules.

@pepsi_man @graf @sickburnbro The EPA is a great example of an agency that should be simple, straightforward, and doing the opposite of what it's currently doing.
