Greetings everyone! I am known to the fediverse as F00F, but also elsewhere as Eris, or the Continuum, or Cosmic, or by my legal name or any number of other nicknames I have come up with in the past. All these names are acceptable.

I am a stereotypical nerd, complete with glasses, studying Computer Science at a university. I’m #ActuallyAutistic and was diagnosed at a young age. I refuse to stick to a gender or sexuality label because I find gender, and all attempts to make sense of it, to be nonsensical and unhelpful for myself, but you may see me using such labels on myself when I feel it makes for a good quip or helps someone else understand me. Any pronouns are okay.

Ideologically, I am nebulously leftist and libertarian (in the broad sense). I’ve given up trying to construct an ideal world in my head, because I imagine something different every time, and I know my specific vision almost certainly won’t be achieved. However, I support any measure and cause that empowers the working class and weakens hierarchical power. I’m mostly not religious, but Daoist spirituality has some appeal to me. Don’t take any of this to mean you can’t follow me unless you share my exact ideology - I don’t have respect for committed bigots and fascists, but I’m open to kind interactions from just about anyone otherwise.

Being an autistic nerd, I also have way too many special interests, including: #StarTrek, #SciFi, #Linux, #FOSS, #ElectronicMusic, #RetroGaming, #Doom (the games), #MagicTheGathering, #TokiPona, #Numismatics, #Philosophy.

I also make music. Most of it is MIDI music designed for Doom levels, and suitable for all video games. The rest is eclectic electronic mixes made with LMMS, Ardour, and a pair of synthesizers.
