I am very much NOT going to have any sympathy for comic professionals & especially comic FANS who get detained travelling to the US for cons & promotional events.

Pros, especially all the Latin Americans & Europeans who now work in the mainstream US Comic field really should know better.

Fans in particular though are *generally* a pretty self-interested, right-leaning bunch of idiots and will get EXACTLY what they deserve.

Comics are fun. Just don't attribute political depth to the industry.

@selzero I try never to call the US "America." It is part of the assumed privilege of that state that it uses the name of two continents solely for itself.

Sometimes I slip up (lifetime of external western propaganda), but generally I try and stick with "US" and "USuians."
