Yes, unions stink for decades, but they did once have their historical legitimacy. My uncle was a school teacher, he crossed the picket-line because he literally had a new born daughter & mortgage...many of his colleagues cursed & spat, people whom he had considered friends but they turned on him hella quick. Fast-forward to now, ain't no shortage of commies in teachers union.
@Humpleupagus@PNS One suspension merely for a rumor that I was dealing marijuana on campus...police took me outta class, they found nothin on me or in my locker...Principal gave my ma a brochure for cocaine rehab *ROFLMAO*
Another suspension was last semester of my senior year, I only needed four classes...and they nabbed me for being off campus, even tho I had no classes after lunch...what dopes!
@DrBtc Is that part of the mass-deportation self-deportation scheme for Los Angeles? Remember all the illegal fireworks from Mexico during the COVID19 lockdown? *ROFLMAO*
Yeah we are all supposed to have equal protection under 1st Amendment...and there are already Assault & Battery laws n junk to use against protesters who cross the line and get physical to prevent Jewish students from attending class.
The anti-semite laws are unconstitutional...creating a special protected class above all the Neo-Feudal peasant serf slave castes. What next? Kosher water fountains for Jewish students only?
@magicalthinking Isn't every university an asshole factory though? Many graduate all puffed up thinkin they know it all, only to have their bubble burst.
20th Century banking regulations, USA too. Certain amounts which are small by modern standards, trigger the nosy oldworld regulations.
KYC: Know Your Customer. AML: Anti Money Laundering.
All conveniently weaponized against citizens because of USA's historical Alcohol Prohibition and the rise of organized crime bootleggers & speak-easy, etc. Then later the RICO laws Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations...
