@Infoseepage whatever it is, Ukraine shows again their ability to be shoulder to shoulder with the best operatives. It also shows, if russian war criminals are aware, and they should, that they will have to live deep underground and alone to even think about escaping the Ukrainians' wrath, whatever the end result of the war comes to be.

@Infoseepage russia is murdering civilians in droves, Ukrainians are inconveniencing travelers (and maybe sparing some on planes by clearing the airspace for Ukrainian Flamingos and other drones and missiles to do their work).

@Infoseepage it is. In the days of old, of the "stamp in", "stamp out", it would have been easier to just look at the date and not at the time. But nobody stopped looking at the day (and don't vare about the time) on the electronic stamp/system registry.

@Infoseepage yeah, it's crap, but an overstay is worse because you risk losing access to the Schengen space for some time, and there is so much to see (as you know).

@Infoseepage AFAIK time is counted in days in which at least a minute is spent inside the Schengen space. The "clock" runs while you are present on a Schengen space country.

If you are inside Schengen from 23h58 to 00h00, it counts as two days inside Schengen. Your crossing into Turkey at 2AM counted as 1 day inside Schengen from 00h00 until 01h59, you could have spent the rest of the day in Schengen space because that day was already fully counted as being in.

It's not like Portugal has a massive coastline, an immense EEZ under its jurisdiction that is impossible to secure and control with the naval and aerial tech we have right now (including that drone carrier). I am not even thinking of the submarine communications cables or the frequent russian naval assets presence...

@Infoseepage and some countries (like mine, Portugal) are buying purpose-built drone carriers instead of naval drones with drones on them, wasting money in the process. The excuse is that the boat is multipurpose...

@dalias @fartnuggets in Europe it seems very finicky too in some countries/regions. I can find my home address simply by typing it naturally ("street name house number city"), but can't find my sister's if I do the same, and she lives in the same exact neighborhood (for hers I need to input "street name comma house number comma city").
That reminds me I have to update CoMaps and OsmAnd maps.

@Infoseepage it also proves that Wildberries is an integral part of the russian war machine/effort, since they need to keep it running (or at least make it look like it is working as usual).

@Infoseepage what I think has happened (my own thoughts and some outside knowledge of military structures in NATO countries, which Ukraine has been "requested" to mirror, so to speak) is that if you show you are "winning" you don't get to ask for better and more weapons and there are limits imposed on the armament "offered" by allies.
Ukraine Armed Forces have shown their adaptability and that they can do more with less, so why give them more? The answer for me is pretty clear: to oust russia from Ukrainian territory and send them back with their tails between their legs. That would "hurt" russian pride and the EU's ability to trade with russia in the future as if nothing had happened. It did happen, russia must pay, dearly, almost to the point of humiliation, so that future generations of russians know what happens when they try to steal, murder and rape their neighbours.
