true, i've seen pictures of numerous protests of groups of brave souls in the tens, maybe hundreds.

yet i seem to have missed the mass protests i would expect if a bunch of lunatics tore down my democracy at the speed of light.

this complete shit-show is topped off by reports confirming that over the last week russians have made the largest advances since summer '22.

- a geriatric president of a western superpower who's apparently already given up.

- a super de-escalatory chancellor of a large western country that is so de-escalatory that soon enough there won't be much left to de-escalate over.

ever since, i would've imagined that a development like the deployment of north korean troops on european soil would be sort of #europe's 'cuban missile crisis'.

a more than serious situation that causes the contintent / #nato to go "alright, that's it!" and would immediately trigger a severe and all-encompassing response.
