CORRECTION: It’s March 15.
Ignore this:
So whatever happened to tomorrow’s general strike promotion?
I haven’t seen a graphic or promo post in 2 days.

@GottaLaff here’s what I have, Miss Laffy. Glad I saw your post bc I thought tomorrow was a #shutdown day.
@GottaLaff @eyeroll I found this one:
@patmikemid @GottaLaff this it?
@GottaLaff IIRC, tomorrow is the date for the Elon protests in front of Tesla dealerships. I’ll try and find the flyer on that amidst my bookmarked posted.

Yes, you did miss them. That's by design. This was an early one that got some national coverage because they blocked a freeway. Last week's state capital protests ranged in size depending on the state, but many were in the thousands. And this is with no national level organizing at the outset because Zuck and Musk removed the ways we organized in Trump's first term.
But now word is starting to spread.
@MaryAustinBooks @sandorspruit @GottaLaff
true, i've seen pictures of numerous protests of groups of brave souls in the tens, maybe hundreds.
yet i seem to have missed the mass protests i would expect if a bunch of lunatics tore down my democracy at the speed of light.
@sandorspruit @GottaLaff @ottona @DemocracyMattersALot
Yes, our corporate legacy media are trying to pretend we aren't protesting, and Musk and Zuck are using their algorithms to suppress our organizing. Most of the coverage is on local news.
But this happened anyway.
@GottaLaff @ottona @DemocracyMattersALot Over here in Europe, we have not seen a single second or photo in our media. Nothing 🙄
@DemocracyMattersALot what? protest in the US at last? 😲
@ottona Where have you been? There have been a ton of protests across the US for weeks now. Maddow spotlights them in her shows. @DemocracyMattersALot
