So they decided to found the Republic of Gilead, and went for the extra-racist version from the novel. Then wrote a bunch of head-up-their-own-ass clubhouse rules where they whine extensively about wealthy and powerful white Christian men being a downtrodden class.

I guess they're just too special to go have a normal midlife crisis, and need to subvert democracy instead 😑

They were trying to repair massive cracks in the road which visibly extended into the dirt hillside. They're lucky they didn't kill the crew.
