@w7voa This shouldn’t surprise anyone except perhaps the climate change deniers who will just assume it’s a conspiracy among the insurance companies.

Bluesky grew almost 300% in November and is now over 25 million users. They have also quadrupled their moderation staff. But they are increasingly seeing bots and other bad actors showing up. I found their app so bad that I had to delete it so that I could use my browser instead. I’ve tried #Bluesky a few times because of the larger number of public sites and people, but I always end up coming back to #mastodon.

We’re not having a good day. Last night trump was re-elected. This morning our power was out and we received text messages to evacuate immediately which didn’t sound right. But we bugged out to our daughters who told us it wasn’t even close to us. Power finally just came back on and our cell phones are going crazy again but the fire seems to be causing havoc in Camarillo, not here. @ai6yr

@ai6yr Just be aware that some people only interact via voice so that there isn’t a record of the conversation such as text or email. This is not unusual with some people in DC and it could be very frustrating when I worked with them.
