i am an audiovisual electronic musician who is trying out linux! (i usually work with macos)

what distro and software should i try?

i am just learning and trying out stuff.

and i need to be able to remote control the machine via vnc so i can choose when i want to connect a screen and not.

once a month i improvise ambient music for slam poetry open mic in oslo. i have been doing it for almost 2 years now, with some months off here and there.

it is a very interesting format because i don't know what the next poet will be talking about.

great mix between taking chances and not steering or taking over, but also not disappearing.

Things are working well. At least in my usual reader.

If I plop the feed into https://rssviewer.app/ or RSS mobile on iOS there are problems:

Videos and images are not scaling correctly and are stretching well outside the screen.

Is my RSS sub par or should we just cancel these readers?

I have been putting my whole post within <![CDATA[ ]]>
and have been writing it as HTML.

Is this a good approach?

Very interesting to see how this will turn out after a while.

One thing I really like with Twitch btw is how it is so natural for people to donate. Not just technically but also culturally. But that is another rabbit hole I guess.
