https://sehatty.ps/public/ https://gazabohc.com/Home
Dr. Abu-Alrish from Gaza Smell of blood. death, overwhelming number of the injured and sick, IOF started targeting hospitals, Doctors, nurses and medical workers are attacked, injured, killed and/or detained.
No water, poor sewage system, anyone can move was target, 15,000 displaced people at Al Shifa hospital - huge burden at the hospital workers, tight supplies and resources from generators, water, even now, parts to fix generators are not available.
Before the genocide, we wanted to double the number of the beds to meet the demands. We fail
First thing they did was to health information of the patients - we had buck up in the second hospital, but it was also attacked and they targeted the health info. We cannot track on the patients' history, cannot find names of the people killed...We couldn't communicate between the hospitals. Transportation between the hospital itself were targeted and extremely dangerous.
When they attacked Al Sifa hospital, we couldn't move from one building to another. One engineer was shot by drone on the neck. We couldn't move him for treatment and he bled to die.
We decided to not to eat tiny little bit of foods and water remaining, so that we don't have to use the bathroom because there is no water.
14 yo boy - only survivor of his family, in extreme pain, he asked me to stay with him, but I had to go... he died alone a few days later.
I asked IOF military to stay inside of the hospital or stand in front of the gate to check or monitor violent people or whatever, I pledged to let us provide the humanitarian care at the hospital. They said no.
Then, we were ordered to move to Indonesian Hospital, but it was destroyed. I asked them to let us fix the Indonesian Hospital before they move in. They agreed and we fixed it, and then the next day, bulldozers came to demolish Indonesian Hospital.
Direct killing is decreased for now, but indirect killing still continues. For example, the resources are not coming in - lack of care is killing people.
Lack of supplies - medical supplies, consumer supplies, repair parts
Safe water - we collect sample water to test and water is contaminated biologically - all kinds of the virus and bacteria are detected. After their destruction, we don't have water treatment facilities
Polio vaccination - Public health broken, some phases were implemented, but northern Gaza had difficulties.
Broken infrastructure - lack of generator
- No oxygen station, but one with a half capacity - ICU and NICU were not operational, we used to have 20 oxygen station, we are not allowed to have liquid oxygen
There are a few hospitals getting fixed and coming back operational, but we don't have enough oxygen, much of the facilities cannot be restored because of that.
Many medical machines(x-ray, CT scan, MRI) were destroyed, and they refuse to give us the replacement. They share no reasons.
We have been waiting for MRI in West Bank before the genocide.
Emergency Departments throughout Gaza are destroyed. Ambulance systems are gone - they don't allow gas/fuel or tires to come in to Gaza. They arrest emergency staff attack ambulance cars.
They suggest to set up Field Hospitals with equipment and supplies from the regular hospitals and abandon our hospitals. They tried to abandon our health system by building less functional field hospitals.
Some NGOs were also complicit to Israeli's strategies.
Hearing the details and specialties are still heartbreaking and shocking... hearing from the ground gives renewed outlooks even for those who are following.
Jerusalem is the biggest urban concentration of Palestinians after Gaza.
Mid 16th century - end of WW1: Palestinian(Otterman Empire) ruled until England took over 1948 Nakba and then Israel
