Apple was the number one volume seller in the smartphone market in 22023 (full-year). Apple’s market share increased modestly from 19% in 2022 to 20% in 2023, Samsung decreased from 22% in 2022 to 19% in 2023, while Xiaomi remained flat at 13%. Looking at fourth quarter only, Market share for Apple increased modestly to 24.7% in 4Q23, vs. 24.0%.
The Boring Company has raised more than $795 million from venture capitalists on Musk’s big idea: underground, multi-station roadways where autonomous vehicles could shoot off individuals to their destination at speeds of 150 miles per hour. But on the ground, after 7 years, Boring is operating a mere 2.4mi of tunnel. Meanwhile Boring projects from California to Illinois, Texas, Florida, and Maryland have all fizzled or been disbanded.
