@steter It snowed last time I was in Portland, about 2-3" of slushy. Luckily I didn’t have to contend with hills between my customer and the hotel in my rental minivan… but goddam nobody there knows how to drive in snow in the first place.

@steter @darkling the “extremely good” part is somewhat relevant for professional employ as a classical musician eg in a symphony. Competition is insane. I was decent but never near pro level. @darkling @steter oh wow. That’s great. I also plan to pick it up again once I'm retired. Played for about 12 years thru early uni. But unless you are extremely good and even more extremely lucky, it's not a career, so I had to focus on other things.

This is important. I started on Saxenda about two years ago because Wegovy (same drug as Ozempic) was unobtanium at the time. Started losing weight immediately and once Wegovy supply stabilized I switched to that and lost about 50lb over a year. Now I am on Zepbound and after two weeks I’ve already lost about 8lb.
