My mother's side all meet at my aunt's place (mostly) and if that can't make it there, go to another aunt's place. So only two. It used to be all will go to the first location but the other aunt can't anymore due to various health issues + her husband's health issues

I guess my issue is, why do we need to use the word "cultivation"?

If you accept the premise that everyone can practice until they "fly", then it's basically like okay you are practicing your stamina. It's like sports. You can learn from manuals how to do it more efficiently or run more efficiently! Stuff like that la. Then sometimes, ppl use technique that official competitions don't accept la (so this is the equivalent of Evil Sect thing I guess, and Evil Cultivation Methods)

I think the other thing that I dislike about digital nomads from the global North is, a lot of the time, there is no attempt to understand the local culture at all
