I do not know Asten or whatever their name is. If they were to become a problem for my instance I would defederate them. They haven't as of yet, so I see no need to be aware of any meta involving them.
But again, I have no moderation experience on larger instances so I have no idea how this applies to y'all... I'm only deciding for like... 8 people who are all 18+... So like I said, I'll shut up and go hide in a corner... maybe it's just my limited experience talking...

Bluesky and other centrally moderated netowrks (because let's be honest, most users only use the default moderation on bsky anyway), are MUCH worse at moderation than you all are, and they mostly don't give two shits about whether someone is a predator or not unless they're either literally convicted or do something illegal on the platform...

I have literally never had to follow it or care about it, and I haven't even defederated many of the affected servers (they tend to defederate themselves by disappearing, not sure if that's good or bad, but yeah)... The only meta I really care about is if some instance has a generalised posting highly illegal shit disease of if something directly afftects me or my sever's users...
