@HauntedOwlbear Sudden suspicion that the rash of out-of-genre cover songs a decade or so back (Turisas - Rasputin &c.) were in fact commissioned by someone wealthy enough to hire moderately famous metal bands on a whim.
@HauntedOwlbear Your taste in music doesn't match mine exactly, but it's close enough that I'll take any recommendation of yours as something worth at least checking out. (Eventually, when I get around to it.) But this go in particular I have to say: every single one of these is - as I believe it is referred to in technical terms - a banger.
@DamonWakes a camera or an extremely faulty torch that turns off immediately after turning on would be the way to go, I think. The tricky bit would be getting the gameplay to work and also not be really annoying and frustrating.
@DamonWakes Camera flash usually takes a while to reload - could maybe do something with that. As well as using up batteries (or whatever).
I could see this being a horror game with a strong "navigating in the dark" premise and the lurking threat of unseen dangers. Though how to have any chance of reacting between perceiving the dangers and being devoured by them is something of an issue.
@HauntedOwlbear Straight-up can't think about this without immediately having my brain inundated with only story or at least concept albums, even though I usually listen to music album-wise.
Queensryche* - Operation Mindcrime Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son King Diamond - The Graveyard Savatage - Dead Winter Dead
@HauntedOwlbear have you thought of putting down pee pads (as sold for puppies too young for housetraining)? I have no personal experience with them but imagine they'd help with hygiene and cleanup, and would not have immediately remembered that they're a thing that exists myself.
