Russia could also have let one of the most corrupt Govts on earth (that's according to Western media!) place NATO's nuclear missiles on its borders, 600 miles from Moscow. Russia's electoral system certainly shares many of the same faults as the US (eg both are rigged to maintain the power of wealthy & influential incumbents and their supporters, & both use mechanisms to prevent the rise of independents who could disrupt a tightly controlled party system). But a lack of open elections is not a valid criticism. #russia #us

@Ukrainenews #Ukraine could have abided by the Minsk Accords in 2014. Or 2015. Or the Steinmeier formula in 2019. Or signed the draft Istanbul treaty in 2022 committing Ukraine to NOT enter #NATO in return for peace with Russia. Instead, the US, UK & NATO pushed Ukraine into an unwinnable war which has seen over a 100,000 dead Ukrainians, & many more maimed for life. Ukraine is destroyed for decades through the loss of a generation of men - all to feed the US war machine's proxy war on #Russia.

I don't know how you can in all conscience refer to the deliberate murder of over 100 children a day as "restrained".
Imagine your children being killed by murderous psychopaths who have invaded your country, and want to steal your house and land.
