Sounds fair at first glance.
We might not like its actions, but in contrast to the savage terrorist organization, the brutal actions of the IDF are controlled by a democratically elected government, so no, no exception, no "addendum."

@fulelo May I point out that when you refer to the Gazan Ministry of Health you note it is “Hamas run”. Should you then note that the IDF is “Likud run”?

I am certainly no legal expert on #Israeli and #Palistinian affairs.
I don't know about the precise processes by which someone living legally in #Israel might become a citizen. Most countries offer procedures by which non-nationals might become naturalized citizens, a prerequisite to obtain voting 🗳 rights. Most countries obviously restrict that flow.
That said, quite some years ago, I met a Jewish-American family while traveling in the Mediterranean. They told me...

@HistoPol @fulelo Israel "democratically elected"? Only if you allow for half of the population under its control to have no vote. I might add that Hams was also "democratically elected", so they are at least on a par even if you wish to disregard the outrageous faux democracy of "Israel". .
