My problem with with his shows is the inconsistent writing. He sets rules and then breaks them, which destroys continuity. That's why these are good. One ep, one story. Next.

I get that. I just loved that he wasn't a mindless madman who walked all slow (like so many others). As a kid, he genuinely scared me. Not like the others. Then they leaned into the funny and it was like he was a sadistic Bugs Bunny. 😅

If you're like me, you're probably on-the-fence about Ryan Murphy projects. Some are good, some not so much. AHS is one of those projects that is sometimes a hit, but usually a miss for me. This is different. An actual anthology, with four or five self-contained stories that HIT every time. I highly recommend this series. 🖤

For me, I think Pearl is a gem for where it goes eventually. It's definitely a slow burn, but you can see the direction early and when she finally snaps it's just very visceral and raw. I've heard 'Maxxxine' is the best one, but I haven't seen that one yet.

See, I thought about too. But if you think about it, they never really had any power to collect. I was a minor. They didn't care. I paid them with a money order. No paper trail there. They never got my SSN, just an address. They aren't going to waste the money tracking me down in person. It was the perfect crime. 😎

I would just get their first deal for 13 CDS for a penny (or something like that), then never pay them. They keep sending CDs and I keep not paying them. Eventually they stop. 😅
