@tk Turned out to be a waste of effort, found a superior fan housing mid-print

Fan housing is coming along, also having fun with the supports. It’s so fucking cool to be able to just draw stuff up in CAD, throw the file on your rapid prototyping machine, and have a working prototype, all in the same day.

Speaking of cost, it’s nice that filament is pretty cheap. All the upgrades I’m planning to print are gonna come out to just a few bucks. Already have a dust filter for the filament attached. Also found a fan housing designed for some quieter fans with placement that facilitates more even filament cooling, but I’m gonna table that one for now.

@Marvelous7578 Trump got indicted (again, and with charges that might actually stick this time) for taking classified info with him after he left office, and the ridiculous part is that as president he can declassify whatever he wants whenever he wants, so he could have just arbitrarily declassified the documents that he wanted to take with him, but in the audio recording where he confesses to possessing classified information (from the context of the audio you can tell he’s showing it to people) he straight up tells them that he could have declassified it as president, but he didn’t.

@Marvelous7578 It is retarded, lol. And the whole classification system only exists at the behest of the president. He is the one who designates which agencies have what level of classification authority, and he retains the ultimate authority to classify or declassify information as he sees fit, through executive orders, the most current of which is EO 13526.

You might think it’s dumb since for you it’s just a formality and you aren’t planning on doing anything (substantively) illegal in your host country, so the population doesn’t need to be protected from you.

But they definitely need to be protected from some people, who are predators that don’t intend to abide by the host country’s laws.
