   One of my co-workers dropped the “the human eye can only see at 30FPS” line, in 2023. Lord help me I thought we had moved past this.

     @dave @realcaseyrollins Geez Dave maybe your eyes run faster than 60FPS but maybe this guy was born a long time ago when they only made eyes run on 60 FPS.

     @realcaseyrollins Nope, your bog-standard computer monitor and phone runs at 60FPS, and that’s still noticeably less smooth than your high refresh rate gaming monitors.

     @SassHole @dave @realcaseyrollins Educators often don't like to admit when they don't know something, and they will guess, without realizing that the student will take what they say as fact. Students have to learn to not take everything from their teachers or professors as 100% true.
     
     But I have all sorts of funny beliefs because of things people told me as a child. Some of them I didn't even realize until much later in life lol XD
