@Marvelous7578 It is retarded, lol. And the whole classification system only exists at the behest of the president. He is the one who designates which agencies have what level of classification authority, and he retains the ultimate authority to classify or declassify information as he sees fit, through executive orders, the most current of which is EO 13526.

@Marvelous7578 Trump got indicted (again, and with charges that might actually stick this time) for taking classified info with him after he left office, and the ridiculous part is that as president he can declassify whatever he wants whenever he wants, so he could have just arbitrarily declassified the documents that he wanted to take with him, but in the audio recording where he confesses to possessing classified information (from the context of the audio you can tell he’s showing it to people) he straight up tells them that he could have declassified it as president, but he didn’t.
