@BeAware Might just be specific to Firefish then. In the same spot where you'd upload an emoji image in the UI, you could just pick a ZIP file.
At least that was the theory. Not sure if I ever got it to work.

@BeAware Not sure if Sharkey has it too, but I think Firefish would let you upload a zip full of emojis and they all loaded up. You still had to tag & categorize them though.
Ability to yoink some from other servers helps, too.
@BeAware Now time to load up those custom emojis. Priorities!
@BeAware I'm able to access it over here.
@BeAware It's almost always DNS.
(Though, assuming you haven't changed anything in the DNS records recently, it probably isn't? Since it worked 24hrs ago and all.)
@BeAware I will say that the DualSense controller is really something special (re: the haptics & force feedback and all). And it tends not to play nice & give you access to all of its features (wirelessly, at least) with anything but a Playstation.
This basically gives you a DualSense while streaming, where it's not possible otherwise.
All of that said, I'm buying a Steam Deck instead. Because I can do more than stream just PlayStation.
@BeAware I should probably quit trying that URL (and probably adding confusing shit to your logs) until you say it's ready to go. :funnyguy:
@BeAware I've never actually tried a Sharkey install, but getting everything populated in .env files and getting Docker to correctly look at that file always seems to be the hardest part.
@BeAware I just Docker + Portainer it up, and continue barely knowing Linux.
@ROBot Tusky & Trunks are the top-tier Android Mastodon apps, IMO. Neither support Sharkey, though.
Megalodon & Moshidon are a very close second, and mostly just because of cosmetic preference by me. And these both support Sharkey.
Android also has takesama which supports Sharkey/Misskey. While it's stylish, it's also missing basic stuff like a Settings menu and Notification support.
Do something.
Looks like the #Megalodon & #Moshidon apps on Android support #Sharkey.
...and some really janky Japanese Misskey apps do, too.
@BeAware Oh, it was cool. I'm only complaining that I couldn't get a photo of when it *really* went nuts.
Hoping I can see more tonight.
Saw some of the squiggly green lights for like 2 seconds, also... But they were gone before I could take a picture. Unfortunately, clouds will be rolling in momentarily... #NorthernLights
@BeAware I dunno man, that weed cloud looks like it's planning on doing crime.
@BeAware You're not my real dad. I do what I want.
@BeAware Poll #2 kinda assumes I was part of the anti-BridgyFed mob. I'm as annoyed by the outcome on that as you are.
Up early to do some more poopin'.
Good morning! ❤️❤️🤎🤎💩
I'm gonna wreck so much solid food after this colonoscopy is done.
@BeAware If they're passing themselves off as official, then yeah, I'd say it's a problem.
Again.... 45 seconds of research. And it looked like yet another FediTips-type account in that time.
@BeAware I dunno. I just looked at it for all of 45 seconds, and after that exhaustive research, I didn't see anything particularly egregious.
Because Fedi is federated, I'm not sure you could have one "official" person own the account. So you end up with a news/fan account like that, complete with personal opinions that everyone won't necessarily agree with.
See FediTips here on this platform as another example.
