    Ugh. I am SO jelly of android today after spending a bit of time with #Megalodon, it's very robust and has some pretty neat features.

    Not to mention, it works with Sharkey.😩Where's the iOS native app love for Misskey forks? We have like...2. And they can't touch Megalodon with a mile-long pole...

      There is the #AriaApp, a new and pretty good client for #Misskey. But it works well with some forks, too, like #Sharkey for example.

      There is an #iOS version (.ipa file) of Aria available on Github:

      @raro I understand, friend. I can try in a bit and see what happens.

      I'm sure you know iOS is severely locked down and I can't "install" anything that doesn't go through testflight or the app store without doing some jailbreak fuckery.

      Thanks for the suggestion though and I will give it a look when I have some time.

      To be honest: I don't know as I have no significant experiences with iOS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      @ROBot Tusky & Trunks are the top-tier Android Mastodon apps, IMO. Neither support Sharkey, though.

      Megalodon & Moshidon are a very close second, and mostly just because of cosmetic preference by me. And these both support Sharkey.

      Android also has takesama which supports Sharkey/Misskey. While it's stylish, it's also missing basic stuff like a Settings menu and Notification support.

      ON Android I relly just use Fedilab myself. It seems to hit all the buttons I need and I have since removed the extra apps, including the default.

      @BeAware

      I don't have a good answer on that one as I only use it on my mastodon instances currently.

      #Fedilab worked relatively well with #Sharkey for a while, but in my experience unfortunatly it no longer does: https://federation.network/notes/9rdcy9cyqnar09d0
      Apparently it's because #Fedilab accessed #Sharkey via the corresponding #Mastodon API, which is currently being thoroughly rebuilt by the #Sharkey Developers.

        @apps@toot.fedilab.app Until a few weeks ago, #Fedilab also worked with #Sharkey, but unfortunately not since then. At least not with the federation.network instance where I'm based. I don't know exactly what the problem is — the app, the server, the API... In any case, posts are no longer displayed in the timelines (see screenshot) @daniel (📎1) RE: @raro@federation.network @maikel@vmst.io @motzmichel@federation.network Firefish uses the Mastodon API now. So all apps should work with that software. That said, with Fedilab you can enable extra features to support more features like reactions and quoting messages RE: ...
