   Seems that I am almost alone in my feelings that a fake Fediverse account spreading false information is a *massive* issue and that kinda sucks tbh...😬😩

   Oh well. I'll continue to push factual, correct information about Fediverse and Threads integration here as I see it happen. No matter if I'm ignored, blocked, defederated or otherwise.

   I have morals and I stand by them. False info helps nobody.

     @BeAware I dunno. I just looked at it for all of 45 seconds, and after that exhaustive research, I didn't see anything particularly egregious.

     Because Fedi is federated, I'm not sure you could have one "official" person own the account. So you end up with a news/fan account like that, complete with personal opinions that everyone won't necessarily agree with.

     See FediTips here on this platform as another example.

     @BeAware If they're passing themselves off as official, then yeah, I'd say it's a problem.

     Again.... 45 seconds of research. And it looked like yet another FediTips-type account in that time.
