    Weird how every preppers doomsday plan involves access to ammunition and plentiful gasoline.

    Most of these guys live 60lbs overweight with a meticulously crafted scenario for the most convenient downfall of civilization. They dont know basic first aid or CPR, couldn't operate an amateur radio if they tried and have no knowledge of animal husbandry cooking or farming but that 8000lb truck financed at 82 months and 37% Apr plays a critical part in whatever disaster awaits.

    To date there is no international consensus on how properly to label and warn a generation of humans 1000 years into the future of our waste pit hubris.

    @gimulnautti @dragonsidedd @Npars01 @noellemitchell nuclear is not only slow to build and mired in regulatory gates, but slow to roi. Profit does not manifest for sixteen *years* after the plants construction, fueling, and activation to to grid.

    Overhead costs are enormous as well. Armed guards, safety crews, training etc...all add up.

    Solar, wind and hydro offer turnkey profit in less than a year. Very attractive.

    @bot @anemone at first it was a phonecall a day for like a week. They flew me down to San Diego for a week to pitch their idea and show me the team and code which was a hosted solution, and a director floated the idea of hiring me as a senior program manager for the whole thing.

    They offered a few more pitches for a "licensed supported" version and I declined.

They hounded me for a month trying to get me to change the license to MIT so they could bundle it with some shitty patient tracking suite they wrote for their urgent care centers.

    Since my mails basically suspended until my shitty apt. Complex can figure out the mail room, I have to pick up my mail at the post office.

    This is a miserable task I put off nearly a month In turn, I also had boutique cigars from cremo in miami delivered. Long story short 3 weeks in a hot post office later and I'm now freezing every cigar I own because of beetles 🤬🤬😡
