No that is almost always the case. Life is filled with exceptions though, and this is one of them.
Mammals are supposed to give live births, but a platypus lays eggs.

Those giant white hair looking things. Each one is a **single cell** bacteria. It is the largest bacteria known to man with each cell growing up to 2mm. You can see them with the naked eye and they are even strong enough to be picked up.
They are also unique as they are the only bacteria where the dna has a nucleus like membrane around it.

@randahl They had two choices, starve to death, or support a mob boss. While I would never vote for Trump I cant say I blame them.

@DarkAthena Second time I had to unfollow this dude for forcing ads down my throat... He used to do it, I unfollowed, he learned his lesson and stopped and now is back at it apparently...
Yea no thanks, not going to refollow a second time. I feel bad for supporting them in the past considering they were just using it to build numbers so they could pull this rude shit.

Sorry as I pointed out before I unfollow people who post ads as I go to great lengths to keep them out of my feed and there is no reasonable way to prevent it from people I follow.
Best of luck to you, if you decide to change your policy on this let me know and I am always happy to refollow.
No hard feelings though, reach out if you ever need anything.

Just a reminder, that in the UK ideas, thoughts, and knowledge is illegal. I guess it's the logical next step once you make guns illegal. All about preventing that harm right?

How is Trump's 80 billion tariff "another order of magnitude" compared to the already existing ~600 billion in tariffs already levied against china?

This is literally just a single tariff increase across a ton of china tariffs int he 301.
The total 301 tariff list on china covers about 600 billion, this particular increase was only 18 billion out of that.
Yea I'd call that pretty major.

Do people still not know how tariffs work? JFC. There's a reason tariffs haven't been used as a major form of trade control since the 19th century -- they don't work.
We're no longer in a world where anybody can just build a factory and start cranking out shit. We live in an interconnected, global society where our supply chains are strung out across the entire planet.
Some things we can't get here. Some things we can't make here. Some things would be prohibitively expensive even if we could.

> haven't been used as a major form of trade control since the 19th century
Under Biden:
"China is also flooding global markets with artificially low-priced exports. In response to Chinaโs unfair trade practices and to counteract the resulting harms, today, President Biden is directing his Trade Representative to increase tariffs under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 on $18 billion of imports from China to protect American workers and businesses."
We just going to ignore the fact that Biden literally increased the exact same tariffs earlier this year?

Police have "Black Ops Sites" where they take prisoners to be tortured.
Here is an article from 2015 reporting on the existence of such sites with thousands of detainees, american citizens:

Here is a video from 2023 of a cop threatening to take someone to a black ops site in Florida if they dont behave:

While I agree the problem is systemic, not int he way you state. The issue here is not that people can be irresponsible with data and that data may relate to you. The issue is that you dont have a fundamental right to anonymity in any situation with law. Simply enshrining a fundamental right to anonymity will go a long way to address the problem as I would have a right to be able to use any service without the need of providing any identifying information to begin with.
