it confused me at first, but it’s a nice instance. but all of the posts i’m making is probably costing too much coinz. i hope to stop procrastinating and get my instance up near-term.

probably will run a single-user instance and sprawl aggregate accounts here at .tech although the fact you created bofh.social brings me back to my younger days. tempted...

• darknet is the term i used (and original term) for a close network or network inaccessible from clearnet. i don’t sell the drugz there. it’s used as a way to access ssh and other tcp ports that should be cordoned off from 0.0.0.0/0 i have multiple darknets using #wireguard, hyprland, and #nebula. because

lab goals is really hard to explain in varchar(5000) but i can try

• infrastructure can be offline first and operate independent of the internetz if i choose
• lab is ultra low power an can be powered by solar (which it is)
• each machine can be considered #ephemeral using #nixos
• networking is such that if node[random] goes down, i still have multiple points of #ingress and #egress into the lab
• parts of the lab are isolated except for a handoff link for critical traffic, because i like to #ctf and it can sometimes require things i shouldn’t be running out to the ethers
• lab can be easily replaced should machines or hardware fails
• in case of duress, press #iot (internet of turdz) button and shred the whole lab. #encryption #cryptography is beautiful
• in case of emergency, i can pick the lab up in a case and bounce to the alternative location

by day i’m a computer person, by night i’m a computer person so the common theme is experimentation because it makes me happy (most days)
