Since moving to #NixOS it really forced me to rethink overall software and systems design. I still utilise Docker but only when #nomad needs to schedule something that I haven't had the time or figured out how to package as a systemd setup.
I'm an advocate of people computing how they please. But with NixOS containers feel off to me.
I haven't found a good reason aside the above to run Docker services on my machine. I ran systems in the 00s with no containers now I'm revisiting that and have to say I like it.
