Summery of 2025 so far: It sucks fox balls.

I just found out that a friend of mine, has died. And I just can’t believe it.

He helped me in incredible ways when my daughter was little, and I had nowhere else to turn. He was a mountain to lean on. I know that he probably meant so much more to me, than I meant to him, because he was 22 years older than me, we only had sporadic contact for many years and lived very different lives. He was one of the kindest, smartest and funniest people I have ever met.

And when I told my mom about his passing, she said "Oh. But did you know, that in the 80s, he was involved in a scandal", and she continued to tell me about the scandal, until I just fucking had it.

I said "With that rhetoric, all people will remember of me is what I did wrong. Things I said and did when I was a child, a teenager, or a new mom. Fuck her art - did you hear that she bla bla bla"... And my mom said; "Well, for people to remember your art, it has to be visible".

I am speechless.

With 2025 approaching, I am still deciding if I should be the bigger person, or the bigger problem

Tonight I unpublished my eBooks from Amazon. Because to me, kissing the ring of the orange faced devil is not acceptable.

So at the moment the only way to buy my books is from me. And I will publish two more after Christmas. :ablobcatheartsqueeze:

What if the process goes quicker this way? If Kamala had won, the Magas would have just been angry, learning nothing.

Now they watch the democrats step back, quietly regrouping. Some Magas are seeing their daughters die from the abortion ban they voted for. Some get no Christmas bonus, or are losing their jobs, because of upcoming tariffs. And they can only blame themselves.

Soon the Magas might turn on 45, and you all can sit back and watch.

I am so happy that the #Fediverse with #Mastodon and all the other forks exist. Even if we are all just stardust in an imaginary hologram.

As a European I am wondering about something.

Wouldn’t this be the right time for the blue states to break off from the red, and stop sending tax money from blue states to red states?

Your constitution would allow for a split to happen, right? You could have two presidents, and two capitals.

World leaders and companies could then choose who to work with, which states to cooperate with, and Europe could refuse to let 45 supporters in.
