@FlashMobOfOne I don’t know if it was any confidence involved in this decision, more a lack of it I think.

I was writing on a new book, but it was a book that I didn’t want to write. I had completed 87 pages when the program refused to save, then it shut down and everything was gone except for 27 messy pages.

And after talking to myself for hours about trying again, taking a walk, vacuuming, having two cups of coffee, grinding my teeth and complaining, I decided that I don’t want to write that fucking book!

So I put it in the bin, emptied the bin, and now it’s gone forever.

How’s your day going?

Brushing your teeth, is the only time you clean your skeleton.

@jacklaridian That’s very true. 💛 We went into a pharmacy, they looked at her eyes and recommended an anti inflammatory and anti allergy eye gel, we tested it, and after an hour it helped. So I let her keep the lashes on at least until tomorrow, to see if it was just a temporary reaction.

But she did promise not to do these kind of things behind my back again, so that was good. And I didn’t have to go all Maleficent on anyone.

Someone said to me “20 years from now, you’ll give anything to be this age again, this healthy again, this everything again”. And I just thought no.

I do have age anxiety, but I certainly wouldn’t want to go back in time. My DV relationship in my 20s gave me my daughter, but because I decided to include her father in her life instead of running from him, it has been 18 extremely rough years.

Now I get these survivors bliss kicks from the smallest things, and I can’t wait for what’s to come. 🥰

And just now, while making coffee in my robe, someone called from the entry phone, I thought it was my daughter so I opened the door to have a look, but it was a man I didn’t recognise, correcting his hair and his jacket. I closed the door, picked up my entry phone and said hello, and the man answered “Yes hello, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses“. A little surprised I answered “Ok! Well eh… No thank you”, and hung up.

Coming to save my soul or something on a Saturday, I don’t think so.

@darnell One thing I find baffling in this, is that if you are an ordinary person in America or Europe, with a criminal record, or if your last employer simply didn’t like you, job hunting can seem almost impossible.

Some employers disqualify applicants only for certain offenses, but many refuse to even consider applicants who have a criminal record.

Yet the same people who live under these conditions, seem to accept that an applicant for the job as President of the USA, is a convicted felon.

I think it’s fantastic that the bear is leading in both my polls 🐻

I've been a yogi for many years, but today I decided to try wall pilates, to see what the weird hype is around it.

At first I laughed at the whole thing, it seemed strange and looked funny, but it actually had my stomach muscles, arms and legs burning. The only thing I wish for is better back exercises, and I am still a bit sceptical. Running and yoga on a mat is still my favourite ways to exercise.

So, that's the exercise report from Liv today. You are welcome.
