Megaconstellations like Starlink will increase atmospheric aluminum oxide amounts to 646% over natural levels ( +360 metric tons / year ).

It will take up to 30 years for the aluminum oxides to drift down to stratospheric altitudes, where 90% of Earth's ozone is located.

Once there aluminum oxide will act as a catalyst with chlorine harming the ozone layer.

Speech recognition will come to all cars at some point in time and thus will require hardly no knobs of any kind.

The benefit of limited speech command set is that the driver can fully concentrate on the driving no distractions whatsoever.

@msh @thomasfuchs as a Finnish city dweller the coldest we had here in the south was -29 C. Still I had no problems starting the car nor need to adjust the heater in any way, thermostat handles that stuff.

I even drove to a meeting 170 km away without jacket in that weather. No preheating, no warm garage, no external help.

The key difference here might be that I drive an EV with 6 kW cabin heater if you have a sauna you might get the scale. The car is warm +20 C in 5 minutes or even less.

@youronlyone could be. I had a pretty consistent future predicting dreams in my teens.

Some happened just as I had seen them, some didn't happen at the same place as in my dream.

There's few issues like date sorting old emails by date header (since I got a lot of mail and it sorts badly by the default received date). This can be fiddled to work with configs though.

There's literally not even a slightest chance to block organized crime from having E2EE discussions so why even bother to try.
