From this we can conclude: 1. This is another, albeit medium, proof that Mormons are not Christian and do not conform to any historical orthodoxy. 2. We can see why they are often prudes attacking all erotic, both bad AND good. 3. They are theological schizophrenics, like all heretics that extremely deviate from Christ, like Islam, Jehovah Witnesses, gnostics, and others. They claim to be supportive of sexual love, but they remove Songs and deny its power. They claim that marriages are forever, yet affirm the tradition interpretation of the Sadducean question passage. They will tell you with a straight face that they live by faith and humility, but then they demand you partake different hidden sacraments in Utah so not only are you saved from damnation, but you are saved-plus-plus, saved from being barred from the highest order of exaltation. They will claim that God was "always infinite" yet the Mormon head god was once a mere man and had to become infinite in eternal progression (and this applies to Christ too, doubly blasphemous).
@Witch_Hunter_Siegfried >even in the NT you can see some overlap with [The Talmud] What the fuck am I reading?
Christ forbade any acceptance of interpretations and theological precedence being equal to or higher than than Word of God (Matthew 15:1-9), let alone claimed traditions. This was reiterated by the Apostles (Colossians 2:8, 2 Peter 1:20). That automatically prevents overlap with the main structure, content, and systematic theology of the Talmud.
Also Kero gets, innocently, a basic fact wrong, or not fully true. The entirety of the Talmud was not compiled in the majority in the third century AD. The project to collect rabbinical false teachings started in that century, starting with the Mischnah, but continued over centuries, with some still being collected in the twentieth freaking century. The full catalogue of what is typically called the Babylonian Talmud doesn't appear until the seventh century. Way too late to be an "overlap" with a hostile body of texts (the New Testament)!
@rwsjw To elaborate, MJ's father and his father's friends was extremely abusive and caused MJ to have the dysfunction and weird infantilization he had throughout his life. I do sincerely believe MJ sincerely did not like being black because of those bad relationships plus all the popularity and approval received from American Whites throughout his career.
I also like the Jackson 5, Off the Wall, and Thriller, so I'm biased into defending MJ.
