Just to clearly state it:

I assume neither the poster nor me are really serious about any implications or whatever here. This will just be intended as regular armrests, I wouldn't know of anything like homelessness and such to exist in the Pokemon world.

I just think it's funny and it gives me an opportunity to complain about hostile architecture. 😅

But yeah, fuck hostile architecture, cities and governments, take care that people don't end up homeless and you won't need shit like this!

Someone on Reddit posted this screenshot showing that future Kalos in the new (?) Pokemon game features anti-homeless benches / hostile architecture.

This is too realistic. On the other hand, if that's an indication that in the next game I can fight asshat governments and contractors, fight urbanization and fight for better treatment of humans and Pokemon, it would be a Pokemon game I'd be interested in playing again. 😁

God, dammit, dear Youtubers, stop putting loud background music in your videos if their main point is you talking!

It's hard enough to understand some accents, especially as no one bothers to include actually human-checked captions!

Imagine if your teachers in school had music running constantly in your lessons! *mumbles angrily*

@Fragglemuppet Haha, yeah, I agree with that.

Now that I'm a little older and have more...erm..."more radical modern views" than before I'm sometimes a little angry at Gruffi's often repeated "stick to traditions and all humans are evil", but he also gets some awesome, heartfelt moments and I also love his dynamic together with Gusto when they star in an episode together.

And the "King Igthorn" episodes also really showed how big and serious they could get if it was fitting to the story.

And with so many usual fantasy tropes, dragons, magic and all, there'd be so many more stories that could still be written!

@Fragglemuppet Yeah, several characters made some nice development for the better even along the "short" time of the show.

Gusto getting more settled into the main group, Sunni understanding a bit better why one has to not just be into fun all time and Cubby, well, I personally really enjoy seeing him as the crimson avenger, caring about people and able to live out his heroic knight wishes. ❤️

Like, from my current, adult view and everything, Gusto.

He's friendly, open to new views and excitable.
And his artistic side is lovely.

If I wear to actually write that fanfic, though, my own character would be at around Sunni's age and I/them would certainly be a bit crushing on her, BUT that would be a kinda split thing:

On one hand she's really cute, she's also dedicated to what she cares about and hates no one takes her seriously, which I can

@Fragglemuppet totally understand and just wish and hope for people to finally try to understand her a bit more. She can also be really creative when it comes to designing costumes/clothes or when she tries to dye her hair, and I like creativity.

On the other hand in some episodes she's very superficial, especially in regards to clothes and royalty.
BUT she's also just a teenager, so her figuring out what's really important in life is also a cool part of the journey and has potential.

@Fragglemuppet I can understand your liking for Tummy, though!
I like his calm, friendly behavior.
I also really liked the episode where he befriends that blind woman, I enjoy when the bears occasionally manage to actually interact with nice humans.

It reminded me a bit of the Gargoyles episode where Hudson befriends that blind guy as his first own human friend.

@Fragglemuppet Oh, I have several ideas in my head, but as I wanted to kinda include my fan character, I wanted to wait until I have the reference finished, and the artist still hasn't even given me a quote on the price and all, so, I'd love that, but it's more a "at some point in the future" thing it seems.

But I'm not giving up on either, getting the character, and writing about them, hopefully. 😅

I still love how much potential the show's world still has, and I've actually written down a description for my own fan character...if I ever manage to get it drawn. 😅

@fsfe First off: congrats on this! It's a very nice rendition of the book and a very pleasant voice to listen to.

Sadly I had to see there are no official captions, asides from Youtube's bad, automated ones.

I started working on them and will most likely be able to finish them later today and MAYBE do a German translation (based on the book) as well.

If you'd like I could, once finished, provide the WebVTT or SRT caption files for you to upload it to the sites, if you want. 🙂

I don't know if what I do should be considered "more professional" to any degree. 😅

The question is, though, if you already prepared that file, if that means you have plans to do the captions from an official side yourself then, of course, there's no reason for random-guy-me to "compete" with you or anything, I'll just patiently wait and see, then. 🙂
