Btw when i put an image name inside of brackets, thats where u go see an image attached with the same name. Reaction YouTubers First off, what the hell are all these videos? Seriously? What the hell was thought when making this? Well ig I know, money because there's no way someone thinks this is actually smart. Admittedly you could argue this is smart of SniperWolf and other cringe react YouTubers who do the same shit, fair enough because if it weren't getting them views, they wouldn't do it. [REACT-1.png] The videos are often the same fucking bullshit, if anything I actually think its worse than 2016 because at least many reaction YouTubers then just didn't say anymore than 7 words so you could just exploit that to find actually interesting videos if you really wanted to. Now you got constant stopping of the video, reacting to the same clips several times in the same video, etc. Gamemaster/Ultra Retard YouTubers There's way too many to count, but you probably have seen these if you have little siblings who watch YouTube all day. They also often scream even more than the reaction YouTubers do, trying to always hype up the audience. Anyone above the age of 3 or that has an IQ above 80 will not be entertained by this stuff (and even then idk how they like it either unless its just "STIMULATION WOAAAAAAH"). [UltraRETARD-1.png] Its so cringe seeing YouTubers be like "I ORDERED *thing obviously not ordered* OFF THE DARK-WEB" because you know damn well they didn't do that. It feels like an insult to anyone who's smart enough to download the TOR browser tbh. I would also like to address Gamemaster related content, if they still do that idk I don't wanna keep up with this stuff. I think they do as I found the website still linked. But for the 1 person who is lucky enough to live basically like Ted K, its retarded. You can obviously tell this isn't remotely "real" nor entertaining, yet people watch this stuff. Why? I don't know honestly, it is just screaming with bright colors and sound effects. Whenever they talk I literally feel myself laying further backwards getting blasted by the sound, I'm 100% serious. Family Channels Ok these seem innocent at first, though its more so how you have to think it through. I would attach images here, but I'd prefer not to put kids faces up or take the time to censor them, if you have little little siblings though you've probably seen one of these videos. To keep this not an entire sperg and to make it easier to understand considering that most of these channels seem reasonable at first: >Family Starts Channel, Probably For Fun >They Get Money >They Realize How Much They Get >They Grow Big Noses >They Start Exploiting Their Kids For Money >Sometimes They Also Start Doing It Just For Views I'm so glad that I was never put in front of an audience of millions of people for YouTube views and money whenever I was littler, sadly this type of stuff is probably gonna become more common in the upcoming years. I'd prefer not to have millions of people see a likely also fake version of "my everyday life". Granted if I started a family channel now and made a video everyday about my daily life or whatever, I would likely accidentally say too many mean words and the shekel overlords would ban me anyways so thats good. I think the family channels are essentially proof that you shouldn't put little kids who aren't even 10 years old onto the internet. Like why would you do that? I wouldn't be able to justify putting it up on a private Facebook account, let alone publicly to the world so millions of people can see. Also I think the people who watch this shit practically live their lives through the videos they're watching, almost like a cope in some-way. That or they're little kids and whenever they watch this stuff, they believe they too can act like spoiled faggots even though to me and most people reading this status, it's obviously fake and they don't get new toys everyday for anything but YouTube. Other Some honorable mentions, because I realized that I still want to have a tiny-bit of a life after I post this (aka non-stop checking my emails). That or I just don't have much to say. >Gaming YouTubers They completely fell off, they're basically a slightly more edgy reaction YouTuber nowadays. >Commentary YouTubers So I'm kinda in commentary still, but more so to fuck around than to be serious, tho I kinda always treat it like a meme. Big channels are retarded and the small ones are half-retarded or so deplorable as human beings half the time that even I can't support them. But if they're just half-retarded its fun. Also, no gameplay commentary doesn't make you a Leafy clone, making your entire thing something like "the new Leafy" does. Also also, at least Leafy was tolerable and the 2020 videos were a little entertaining. >Political Spergs RW-Fediverse is better than political YouTubers, not like thats a high standard. Left-wingers are ultra retarded on there, right-wingers are barely RW nowadays and even if they were actually RW, they'd probably still be gay as fuck. >Documentary Videos Actually one of the better types, although it still is mostly shit, I at least found 1-2 ppl actually entertaining (Summoning Salt). Tho these videos often require actual work, so you're probably gonna get an upload every 1-3 months. Admittedly, they're still usually not 100% accurate but at least its somewhat entertaining. It beats most of the other stuff you find now so I can give these videos that. Thanks for reading 2 Fediverse essays, YouTube sucks in 2023 and I'm so glad to not use it anywhere near as actively as I once did because all the good YouTubers are gone or they're shit now. Or they barely upload, have Odysee/Rumble alternatives anyways, etc. Long rant over, thanks for reading. Will this long ass post change anything? Probably not. The people who don't watch them already aren't retarded enough to watch them and thus already know what's being presented here, the people who watch them probably aren't even on the Fediverse and thus will never see this post. If they do, they're just gonna say "not all YouTubers of *insert type* are like this", unforunately even if its true, its too much of the existing ones to make any difference or they're 3 sub YouTubers who might sell out when they start getting paid money. If they don't, then good because we need someone who doesn't entirely sell out for shekels.

    So recently I set Firefox to be "Permanent Private Browsing" so everytime I close the browser, I get logged out of everything which is pretty nice (plus, it means my little siblings can't easily fuck everything up).

    However, now I can actually see YouTube's homepage whenever I'm not signed in. Holy fucking shit it is bad, even for YouTube standards. How much fucking gay shit is on my homepage right now while not logged in?

    Is this really what a normie's YouTube experience is like? Because if so, holy hell YouTube sucks for them and I genuinely feel sorry. I don't think I could use YouTube when all the videos are stuff like "New HALLOWEEN 2023 Update In Fortnite!".

    Hell with my current usual homepage, I don't even get anything interesting anymore (or its like less than a video monthly with no other creator even remotely similar to what I found and like). So essentially, I'm at a point where I just don't watch YouTube at all somehow.

    Literally only use it for music now, which is crazy to me to think about. This platform has gone waaaaaaaaay downhill even from when I made my YT channel in 2019. Imagine the average IQ of these people, sub-80.
