So, is this you, among the 21 co-authors?

What was your part in this research?
You misspelled "you're" again.
@freemo @justpeachy @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
There are many Jeffrey P Freemans out there. Are you researching mycology or aerodynamics, for example?
You can't link a single article? You don't have a C.V. handy?
That's interesting.
Here's an idea: Give me one title of any academic article you've written. Just one. It can be your dissertation topic, if you like. Anything will do.
Surely you can remember the title of one.
You misspelled "you're" again.
@freemo @justpeachy @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
I'll wait for the links to those articles. Let's see if you know your field.
Did I mention I'm an editor for an academic press?
Show me anything. I'll ask you a few questions. You should LOVE talking about your research publications.
@freemo @justpeachy @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
I'm an editor. I've done more than 40 books.
Making the same mistake twice in rapid succession isn't a typo, especially with a common misspelling.
Anyway, link me some of these articles you authored, and we can discuss them. Let's see how well you understand your supposed field.
@freemo @justpeachy @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
Do you spell "you're" correctly in the peer-reviewed papers?
@freemo @justpeachy @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
"Admit your a dumbass" is my favorite thing ever.
I work for a YC co. What you said makes no sense.
Say hi to your mom for me. I'll send a pic of me at her house for you.
@justpeachy @freemo @Pineywoozle @realcaseyrollins @MoiraEve @georgetakei
N.B. that you're interacting with Freemo, an account that makes over 9000 posts a month, has over 30k "followers" (but never gets any likes), and whose "dad" is a "friend" of Joe Biden.
Biden even spends the night sometimes!
Wowie zowie! I bet they play checkers and watch reruns of Friends.
Also, he's a "doctor."
1/6 One of the biggest threats Trump represents is the idea that he can't be a dictator because he's too dumb.
Dictators are terrible leaders. It's why they need to be dictatorial. They're also often quite mediocre, even poor, at almost everything.
What they have in spades in overconfidence and cruelty, often combined with stupidity. Hitler was astonishingly dumb, particularly in military matters (some generals referred to him as "that corporal," but he had the power to execute them).
2/6
Dictators don't represent competence. Rather, they embody the more primitive aspects of the human amygdala, and their appeal has nothing to do with actual intelligence or competence.
In short, Trump is America's *perfect* dictator: stupid, cruel, arbitrary, reactive, and easily manipulated -- a boon to our enemies and devastating to us and our allies.
Just like every dictator before him.

Okay, so, legal system 101: anyone can be criminally charged for an act they did not do... that's why there's a trial, with a judge, a defense lawyer, a jury, etc.
And, like, there's evidence and stuff. Like, wow, they can pretty easily determine if the dude is the dad, so... can you connect the dots from here?
Also, "forfeit" is the preferred spelling, not "forfit."
@aral
Superior headline:
"Dude who will saw off your limbs if you disagree says there's no science behind demands to phase out fossil fuels."
"For phase-out..." is awkward.
Maybe, and hang with me here, we shouldn't hang on every word of billionaires like Musk.
One of the weakest elements of much media is the endless fawning pieces about people who offer no moral or intellectual insights. Yes, again Musk.
@nando161
This, exactly.
The "Founding Fathers" myth is absurd. These guys were pirates.
Just going to point out that we should all be putting license agreements for generative AI use in our books.
Why?
Because licenses trump copyright. There's no wondering whether or when legislation will catch up or what your compensation will be.
Someone wants to use your book in their training set? Go ahead. License says that's $1,000,000. Thank you.
