@HistoPol @FarhanaMTS Depends on one's definition of expensive, I guess. But my dog yard is pretty big, and enough of that wire to go all the way around it isn't in my budget any time soon. First I have to have a residence that's much closer to finished. Speaking of which...it's Saturday, so I'm off to The Project Races.

It's hard to see in the pic, but there are two layers to the fence--the regular heavy wire on the inside for the dogs, then an exterior layer of 1/4" hardware cloth. It's very thin, close-weaved wire that will prevent even baby snakes from getting through.

🐍 So, it's not my photo, not my fence, not my dog, but it IS an excellent, one-shot illustration of why I'm turning myself inside out to come up with the cash for a snake fence. 😳🤦♀️

🌧️ To balance all my whining about no rain, I must be sure to acknowledge 10 whole minutes of moderate shower this evening. Enough to dampen the ground and create a few puddles. Proverbial drop in the bucket, but since #Arizona had basically no #monsoon at all this year, every one of those drops counts. 💧 😍
