One reason I enjoy all the end of year "best of" kpop lists is that they prompt me to listen to songs that I might otherwise have ignored.

Seeing TWS - hey! hey! as the number one for Nick James at the Bias List in addition to it appearing on other lists too had me go to YouTube... what joy! I'll have to listen to more of their stuff!

The audience shots interested me too, as I had been under the impression that their fans were overwhelmingly male. In fact, lots of enthusiastic women were in the audience.

In a way its refreshing to see no effort being made to conceal the antisemitism.

The call for police protection for "anti-Jewish students" should be filed alongside the the Columbia occupiers' plea for the university to provide food supplies as "humanitarian aid" . Had such catering been provided, I'm sure there would have been complaints about insufficient menu options and the lack of assurance that the coffee was shade grown....

How much do the performance /visuals aspects of kpop matter to you?

They're important for me; I'd be grief stricken if kpop MVs were to disappear from YouTube.

There's no "right" answer to my question -- I'm just interested to hear how other kpop fans feel.

That makes sense, as one would expect English in the Philippines to be closer to US English than British English.
