Oh joy. Someone in YouTube has decided that people aren't watching enough "shorts" (or too many people are hiding the panel, like I keep doing). So now they're mixed in the main Recommends page.

Now we're up to the "What can we make better" and I'm rarely prepared for this bit. I'm not, today.

I am in a sprint retro and I'm really not in the mood for it right now.

@annika I was going to say I wonder why Amazon doesn't realize this kind of thing dilutes their brand, but then I realized, they make more money if they let Chinese drop-shippers do that sort of shit. Because if they didn't, Amazon would lose more market share to AliExpress.

I know it's not in their own interest, but I wish I could tell Amazon to filter out the Chinese drop-shippers with made-up brand names from a product search.

Had to repair my electronic scales before I could make this morning's coffee, because I weight out beans before grinding. Fortunately, the repair was simple: I just had to re-solder a battery wire. Also found the hot-glue to stick the wires down, too.

Okies. I'm still looking for some low-key social groups in southern Sydney for trans (mainly) and queer people. Have had no success so far And I'm beginning to think meetup dot com is not a good place to look.

Where else can I look?

I've had two (I think) little tasks I wanted to do in 5 minutes, got up to do each and forgot what they were. Both times.

Sometimes I wish there was more distance between Sunday evening and Monday morning.

@BeAware It's a 10 minute walk through and out of a shopping centre, about half of which is covered. I got a little damp. Still, could be worse...
