Mind you, I’m an oldish white woman myself, but maybe not the •right kind• of woman.

Proctored a three-hour entrance exam. Can’t use my phone or notebook, can’t nap, so I wrote lists of things I need to or want to do, including ideas for blog posts. Now I just have to actually do those things.

Old white woman got on this crowded train, saw the one open seat to my right and decided she’d rather stand. Suit yourself. ?♀️

@gaby 場合によってはブロックします。ツイッターの方ではネトウヨから常に嫌がらせをされていて、連中はよく見る専用のアカウントを作ってフォローして来て、そしてスクショを撮って本垢で晒して仲間に私への攻撃を促す。ここだと嫌がらせアカウントを許すインスタンスはだいたい他のインスタンスからブロックされるけど、それでもたまに嫌がらせを見かけるし、私は警戒しちゃいます。

It would be really helpful if my fellow white people could understand and acknowledge that we are all raised in a system of white supremacy, like like our parents and grandparents and great grandparents. If a Person of Color tells you your words or actions are contributing to/perpetuating white supremacy, they are not saying you are a horrible person or consciously racist. They are pointing out a fact which they recognize based on a lifetime of experience. Don't get defensive. Just LISTEN.

Threads like this are why I dismiss white ruminations on how to deal with racism because they almost always result in them trying to shield the worst people from the consequences of their actions.
